Playing a game of Scrabble is great fun at any time, let alone when you break a Guinness World Record and support the YMCA Homeless Shelters at the same time! This Big Event is held on Friday the 27th August at 5:30 pm at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana (pictured above). The members of the Malta Scrabble Club will 'referee' the event. To take part just fill in the form below and pay your fee, which is € 10 per person. On the day itself, don't forget to bring a Scrabble Board with you.

Once we have broken the record -we need 1,044 players to do that!- you will get a free Certificate by email, or you can buy a cool Official Personal Guinness Certificate. Here are the rules:

• You need to be present at 5:30 pm. Please be on time!
• Everybody has to stay until the last player has finished (at about 7 pm).
• All proceeds will go in aid of YMCA Homeless - no refunds if we don't break the record.
